Steady growth remains an aspect of KD Construction, Inc. since obtaining its Hawaii State Contractor's License in 1988. Although most past work has been government projects of different scales with the Federal, State, and County departments, KD Construction, Inc.'s clientele is currently shifting towards the private sector while maintaining select government work. Through its hard-working employees, KD Construction, Inc., an ESOP company since 2002, has built a company with extensive in-house capabilities. As a result, KD Construction, Inc. brought in $50 million in revenues for 2006.
KD Construction, Inc. employs union carpenters, masons, laborers, equipment operators, ironworkers, plumbers, electricians, and air conditioning/sheet metal workers. Supporting this 250+ labor force are 25 project managers, engineers, estimators, accounting, and clerical staff.
KD Construction, Inc.'s large inventory of construction equipment includes excavators, backhoes, front-end loaders, water trucks, compactor/rollers, dump trucks, 25-ton cranes, and a boom truck. KD Construction, Inc. also serves as an authorized pre-engineered metal building dealer for American Buildings Company and an authorized Chance Helical Pier installer.
