Safety
Safety comes first at KD Construction. Our Safety Program receives attention at every level of command from the President downward. KD Construction has created an aggressive training program to ensure safety leadership, implementation and responsibility. We are proud of the recent accomplishments brought by our Safety Program.

Every day begins with our onsite Daily Huddle and Stretch Routine.
VPP Status

KD Construction, Inc. has been selected as one of only five companies in the State of Hawaii to receive Voluntary Protection Programs (VPP) status from the U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety & Health Organization (OSHA). "OSHA's VPP status is the most prestigious safety standard award given by the federal government and is earned by less than one percent of all companies in the United States," said Nelson Befitel, director of the Department of Labor & Industrial Relations. We proudly raise our VPP flag each day at our Main Office.
